I think Joey is doing beautifully as is Jack.
It's about 7:00 am and everyone is still sleeping. We had a house call
from the pediatrician last night and everything is good. There were a
few questions we had and the dr was able to ease our concerns.
Today we plan to visit the zoo to see pandas. It's been raining hard
here day and night so it may be a wet visit. The hotel provides us
with umbrellas so we've stayed mostly dry. The pictures capture what
we see. What is missing is the heat, humidity and smell. Overwhelming
at times.
Joey is officially ours now according to the Chinese government. We
took our oath yesterday and have our paperwork to prove it. Now we
wait for his expedited passport and visa which we should get on
Friday. Then it's onward to Guangzhou to complete the US portion of
the adoption. We are thankful for the agency reps who guide the entire
process.
