Thanks, Angela. When we originally filed our paperwork, we indicated no preference. But when we refiled, we changed our preference to a girl, or so we thought. Surprise!
Congrats on your referral. He's adorable. God does have a sense of humor, doesn't He?
You've gotten used to refering to your next child as Jo-Jo, so can it be changed to Joe? Short for Joseph, or to stay with your Mom's name, short for Johann.
As for a new blog name, how about Father, Mother, Big and Little Brother
Congratulations..it's a very exciting time...we got our referral 2 years ago this July. From the name, it sounds like he's from Yunyang in Chongqing? I wish you all the best! our blog of our journey from Canada to China welcomehomelittleone.blogspot.com
Congratulations on your referral! When you are ready to obtain his finding ad (with a great photo of him months younger than his referral photos!) come visit us at www.research-china.org.
Congratulations! For our first adoption from China we requested a girl and were referred our amazing son. He is everything and more than we could have ever expected, wanted or dreamed of. What a special gift! Enjoy the chaos of switching gears from girl to boy! It is crazy and exciting!
Oh! He is so cute! We have given no preference on gender and already have two girls. I love girls, but a boy should would be fun too! Just dropping in from RQ. CONGRATS!!!!!!!
I laughed at your "boy" announcement. We also have been planning and preparing for a girl -- but know full well we could be surprised like this ... and we would be happy no matter what! A "boy" ... may God give you a WONDERFUL life together. Boys are SO much fun!
Oh, he's so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious though, did you ask for a girl, or either?
