March Matches (or is it Madness?)

Our agency is reporting matches through 3/8/06. That means we are seven days away. In "adoption years," seven days worth of matches could happen in a month, or six months. On average, the CCAA (Chinese Center of Adoption Affairs) seems to be matching 2 - 3 days per month. Some months more, and some months less. So our guess is as good as yours. I'm going to continue enjoying my time with Jack, since I think even a few extra months might make our traveling with him easier.

Jack is talking so much. He's started putting two words together, and it's very cute. There is usually a short pause between the words, as he thinks about it. Very cool to watch it all come together for him. He's saying things like "big phone," "more wa-wa (water)," and "yellow ball." Last night when I asked him what book he wanted to read, he said "two fish" (Dr. Seuss's One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish). Oh, and "cat pee," which we've been learning about the hard way this week. For some reason he loves to say it. I'm pretty sure he'll be saying "Daddy goofy" next!
